Overview
The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for managing the full life cycle recruiting process for a variety of salaried positions across the United States. The Corporate Recruiter provides superior customer service to hiring managers by attracting both active and passive candidates.
Responsibilities

Serve as a business partner to operations, human resources, and corporate hiring managers for full life cycle recruiting including but not limited to role definition, recruiting strategy, candidate sourcing, interviewing/evaluating candidate fit, administering assessments, candidate selection and offer

Partner with hiring managers and HR leaders to gain thorough understanding of hiring needs and requirements through intake meetings. Review resumes, job descriptions and job postings and update postings to attract top talent while monitoring time to fill

Engage in development and implementation of strategic recruiting plans with the Director of Talent, Hiring Managers and other HR partners for start-ups, soft searches, confidential openings, strategic roles, and national searches.

Recruit for and support recruiting efforts for all ranges of salaried jobs

Proactively identify effective sources or creative techniques to identify the best pool of candidates in a timely and cost-effective manner. Utilize various methods to source for positions including resume searches, cold calling/communicating, social media strategies, employee referrals, internal posting program, networking activities, online advertising, etc.

Manage and document the requisition status through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS); utilize the ATS to build a pipeline of talent for future staffing needs as well as the ability to create LinkedIn projects and candidate pipeline

Supports the entire recruiting team on any open req and assist in sourcing talent for other recruiters on the team

Continually strive to improve recruitment processes and strategies. Monitor hiring processes, laws and policies to make recommendations for changes, as needed

Responsible for identifying recruiting challenges early in the recruitment process and partnering with manager and other HR leaders to reduce aging of reqs

Collaborate with a team of recruiters, hiring managers, HR partners, and leadership focusing in the areas of candidate talent search and placement, process improvement and strategy development. Participate in sourcing ‘Power Hours’ as needed to reduce the time to fill

Act as a subject matter expert and provide recruiting advice that enables hiring managers to address and resolve staffing challenges.

Acquire industry knowledge, competitive market data, etc. to maintain subject matter expertise and to continually sharpen knowledge

Assist in developing and maintaining recruiting policies, procedures, job descriptions and other talent acquisition-related materials
Qualifications
Education/Experience
-
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Human Resources or Business
-
3-5 years of recruiting experience with 2 of those preferred either in a corporate or agency staffing environment
-
Must have candidate sourcing experience to include database searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS (Workday preferred) and knowledge of sourcing trends
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-
Ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers and HR business partners to ensure a successful hiring and on-boarding process

Ability to travel to locations or events as needed

Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management

Proven ability to source talent from a variety of sourcing vehicles including internet sourcing/advertising, direct sourcing, resume database, employee referral, networking referrals, career fairs, universities, etc.

Ability to utilize an Applicant Tracking System (Workday experience is a plus) to manage requisitions, candidates and build a pipeline of talent

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Dedicated and resourceful self-starter that can deliver results while managing through changes effectively

Must be able to manage and maintain highly confidential information
