Position: Corporate Recruiter
Location: Troy, MI
Reports To: Director, Human Resources
Description
The Corporate Recruiter position is designed to do full lifecycle recruiting to help support the various company operations across the country. This position also carries out some HR Generalist functions and is involved in other facets of the Human Resources Department.
Essential Job Functions:
• Sourcing resumes through searching job boards, posting on job board sites and attending career fairs in the area
• Phone screening potential candidates and coordinating interviews with the hiring manager
• Completing all pre-employment requisites including: drug screen, background check, MVR reference checks and written comprehension
• Extending employment offers to candidates who have been selected for hire
• Communicating new hires to all internal support groups and ensuring all documents are present before a new hire is cleared to start
• Conducting new hire orientation at corporate office which includes: company presentation, new hire paperwork, credentials setup, badging and access, ADP training and safety training
• Setting up current Team Members for post incident testing once hired
• Communicating and holding Managers accountable to 90 day review and annual review, ensuring completion
• Assistance in HR Generalist duties such as filing, invoicing, billing and benefits reconciliation
• Performing comprehensive Exit Interview (both verbal and written) upon notification of a departing Team Member
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred (Business, HR or any other related field)
• Must be a high energy individual with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed
Requires the Following Skills:
• Excellent communication, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone, email and written means
• Must be able to multi-task while ensuring follow up and execution of required tasks
• High degree of organization and ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
• Intermediate skills with computer applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to navigate challenging business environments while quickly assimilating to diverse client, and management team
