About the role

The Corporate Paralegal supports the Legal Department by managing and executing a broad range of corporate governance, commercial contracts, compliance, and transactional activities. This role serves as a key operational partner to Legal, Finance, Sales, Human Resources, and executive leadership by ensuring corporate records, contracts, and legal processes are accurate, compliant, and efficiently administered. The Corporate Paralegal plays a critical role in enabling business operations while mitigating legal and regulatory risk

What you will do

Contract Review & Management

  • Manage the intake, review, tracking, and approval workflow for commercial contracts, including NDAs, vendor agreements, consulting agreements, amendments, and renewals
  • Conduct initial reviews of contracts for completeness, consistency with approved templates, and adherence to company policies and approval authority matrices
  • Coordinate contract redlines, approvals, execution, and storage in the contract lifecycle management (CLM) system
  • Track key contract terms, obligations, and renewal dates to ensure compliance and timely action
  • Serve as a liaison between Legal and internal stakeholders (Sales, HR, Finance, Procurement) to facilitate efficient contract execution

Employment Law Support

  • Support employment-related legal matters, including drafting and reviewing offer letters, employment agreements, separation agreements, confidentiality agreements, and policy acknowledgments
  • Assist Legal and HR with compliance related to employment laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Maintain employment-related records and documentation in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Support investigations, audits, and responses to employment law inquiries under attorney supervision
  • Monitor deadlines and assist with tracking employment claims, administrative charges, and litigation matters

Immigration Support

  • Provide immigration-related paralegal support for U.S. and global mobility matters in coordination with outside immigration counsel
  • Prepare, collect, and organize documentation for visa petitions, extensions, amendments, and permanent residence filings
  • Track immigration case statuses, key deadlines, and expiration dates to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees, HR, and counsel regarding immigration processes and documentation requirements
  • Maintain accurate and confidential immigration records in compliance with applicable laws and company policies

Legal Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain organized legal files, contract databases, and immigration records in accordance with record retention policies
  • Assist with regulatory filings, compliance reporting, and internal audits as directed
  • Assist with Risk Management activities such as corporate property & liability insurance and D&O coverage for the company
  • Support continuous improvement of legal processes, templates, and systems related to contracts, employment, and immigration

What we look for

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a corporate or transactional paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department
  • Demonstrated experience supporting corporate governance, contracts, and compliance functions
  • Preferred experience working with employment and immigration matters for a corporate organization
  • Experience working in a matrixed, cross-functional corporate environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of corporate law concepts, entity management, and contract administration
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, handle confidential information, and work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize effectively

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required

License or Certifications

  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program
