Position Summary:
The Corporate Paralegal is a key member of the team supporting the Firm’s global Corporate Practice. This includes working directly with associates to provide corporate legal assistant services to the Firm’s NDA team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review, revise and negotiate non-disclosure agreements (NDA) in a fast-paced environment
- This is a client facing position with frequent direct client contact
- Maintain documentation of client NDA processes and procedures
- Proofread and edit NDA documents
Qualifications:
Education: College degree is required
Experience: 3+ years of M&A experience; expertise in reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
Skills and Abilities:
- Expertise in reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements (NDA’s)
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments while working under pressure to meet important deadlines
- Must be able to effectively work and communicate with all levels of partners, attorneys and staff
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients
- Proficiency with various software programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, use of the Internet
- Proficiency with online database management
- Strong interpersonal skills is a must
- Effective written and verbal communication and strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Must be detail-oriented; possess strong organizational skills, and a high degree of accuracy
