The Role

Position Summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Intern Program. This exciting opportunity offers a paid, 10-week experience for selected UNDERGRAD OR GRAD (based on HM request) students. The program will run from June 1 to August 7.
Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates, possess U.S. work authorization, and be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule. Additionally, participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. The application window is open until March 15, 2026; however, it may close earlier if all available roles are filled. Applications submitted after the application window or once a role is closed/projects are full will not be considered.

Role and Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Corporate Marketing Strategy team at Samsung is seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to support cross-functional initiatives that drive brand marketing forward and strategic projects led by the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). This role is ideal for a graduate or MBA student with strong project management, research, and analytical skills, who is eager to work in a fast-paced environment at Samsung. The intern will contribute to AI trend analysis, project management support, competitive research, and marketing strategy development while collaborating with various teams across the organization. Ideal candidates are analytical thinkers, effective communicators, and eager to apply their academic knowledge in a dynamic corporate setting.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Strategic Project Support: Assist in strategic projects involving data insights, brand marketing alignment, and leadership reporting/dashboards.
  • Presentation & Reporting: Help develop presentations, reports, and executive briefings for senior leadership.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications to ensure strategic initiatives progress efficiently.
  • Insights & Recommendations: Support the CMO’s Strategy team by gathering insights, analyzing industry best practices, and proposing data-driven recommendations.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research on emerging AI trends, marketing technologies, and competitive strategies.

Key Deliverables During Internship

  • Comprehensive Research Report: A detailed report on AI trends impacting marketing and consumer behavior.
  • Competitive Benchmarking Analysis: An analysis of key industry players and their strategic approaches.
  • Strategic Presentation: A presentation for the Corporate Marketing organization summarizing key insights and recommendations.
  • Project Plans & Roadmaps: Detailed plans and execution roadmaps for ongoing marketing strategy initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Insights & Reporting: Insights and reporting on key marketing trends.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) Degree.
  • Preferred academic fields of study: Business, Project Management, Marketing, Strategy.
  • Final-year graduate students or recent graduates are strongly preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Project management tools: Monday.com.
  • Data analytics & visualization: Advanced Excel, Tableau.
  • Marketing & business research: Strong ability to analyze industry reports and market trends.
  • Presentation & reporting: Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel report-building.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to convey strategic ideas clearly.
  • Experience or coursework in marketing, business strategy, or consumer behavior.
  • Background or interest in consulting
  • Experience developing comprehensive analytical reports.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Skills and Qualifications
