Tasks / Responsibilities
Oversee and lead the delivery of the accounting for corporate structures ensuring accuracy and compliance with the Constitution, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Ensure full adherence to the prevailing control environment.
Be a leading participant in the continuous development of our operating processes and procedures.
Be an escalation point for technical queries accounting and tax from all relevant stakeholders.
Maintain the relationship with all relevant stakeholders and be the escalation point for certain specific stakeholders for Apex
Influence and work with various stakeholders to lead the risk, Cost and Control agenda for Group
Translate strategy into an operational plan for delivery and provide oversight and guidance to ensure organisational leadership and day to day business running
Work closely Operations and wider CRM and Product team
Develop and foster key relationships within business / product line and promote an environment of personal development and continuous improvement
Drive strategic dialogue across operations and businesses to prioritize key initiatives
Proactively analyse and identify possible risks and issues within the organisation that could impact daily process and service delivery
Ensure stakeholder awareness, engagement, and support through effective and timely communication
Support the development of an environment where people management and development are top priority. Coaches’ direct reports and others in the organisation, as appropriate.
Develop talent within the organisation and active diversity leader within the management team
Actively supports Groups strategy, plans, and values, contributing to the achievement of a high-performance culture
Acts as a role model for all employees
Create, drive, evolve and sponsor franchise initiatives to leverage technology and business process management solutions to reduce operational process and drive exception-based business management
