As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase in the Corporate Sector Data Engineering team, you will promote the development of secure, scalable, and innovative solutions for our Global Know Your Customer (KYC) and Risk Assessment Data Platform. You will lead across multiple teams, define architecture and engineering standards, and deliver high-impact software that supports the firm’s portfolios. Job responsibilities

  • Develop secure, high-quality production code for data-intensive applications and platforms
  • Mentor and review work of other engineers to promote best practices
  • Create durable, reusable software frameworks and patterns leveraged across teams
  • Design and govern agentic AI systems, including multi-agent workflows and human-in-the-loop controls
  • Establish engineering standards for LLM-based applications, ensuring safety and reproducibility

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability at enterprise scale
  • Experience designing and deploying production AI/ML systems, including LLM-based applications and agentic architectures in regulated environments
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, particularly Python and/or PySpark
  • Advanced knowledge of software application development and technical processes in disciplines such as cloud, AI/ML, or data engineering
  • Experience in large-scale data processing, microservices, API design, and orchestration frameworks
  • Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, vector stores, and data lake architectures
  • Familiarity with observability tools and frameworks
  • Practical cloud-native experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and executives

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
