Air Products is seeking a Corporate IT Sourcing Manager to lead global Digital Technology sourcing and category management activities based in Allentown, PA. This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving sourcing initiatives, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and procurement activities across a broad portfolio of technology categories, including software, SaaS, cloud services, infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunications, hardware, and managed services.
This position plays a critical role in optimizing costs, mitigating risk, enhancing supplier performance, and supporting business objectives through strategic, best-in-class sourcing and category management practices.
As a trusted partner to senior leaders across Digital Technology, Finance, Legal, Information Security, and other business functions, you will influence key technology investment decisions, lead complex contract and commercial negotiations, and develop long-term sourcing strategies that deliver measurable business value. This role also offers the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of sourcing professionals while shaping the future of technology procurement across a global organization.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of IT sourcing professionals responsible for strategic sourcing and supplier management activities.
- Develop and execute category management and sourcing strategies across the global Digital Technology spend portfolio.
- Lead complex negotiations involving software licensing, SaaS, cloud services, infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunications, hardware, managed services, and professional services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers and senior internal stakeholders.
- Drive cost savings, value creation, risk mitigation, and supplier performance improvement initiatives.
- Oversee competitive sourcing events, including RFPs and RFQs, supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and supplier selections.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracting standards, governance requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Support technology transformation initiatives through innovative sourcing strategies and supplier partnerships.
- Provide market intelligence and executive-level insights regarding supplier capabilities, technology trends, pricing benchmarks, and sourcing opportunities.
- Develop and present sourcing strategies, commercial options and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Manage supplier performance and contract execution to ensure realization of negotiated value and business outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in sourcing, procurement, category management, or strategic supply management, including significant experience supporting technology spend categories.
- Minimum of 3 years of people leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
- Demonstrated success leading complex technology contract negotiations and managing strategic supplier relationships.
- Experience supporting enterprise technology categories such as software, SaaS, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, telecommunications, infrastructure, and hardware.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, C.P.M., CSCP, or equivalent are preferred but not required.
- Deep understanding of software licensing, software-as-a-service (SaaS), cloud services, technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and technology services procurement.
- Experience sourcing AI, automation, data platforms, and emerging technologies, with knowledge of data privacy, governance and usage rights
- Strong knowledge of supplier economics, market competitiveness drivers, technology industry trends, and sourcing best practices.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, financial, and commercial acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Strong leadership, coaching, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams, align stakeholders, and deliver measurable business results.
- Knowledge of contract terms, conditions, and commercial contracting principles.
- Ability to identify, champion, and implement innovative sourcing solutions.
