The Baltimore office of Hogan Lovells is seeking an outstanding mid-to-senior level associate with three to five years of relevant experience to join its nationally recognized Corporate & Finance team. The successful candidate will bring excellent law firm training and substantial experience advising on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including strategic alliances and joint ventures, in a sophisticated corporate practice, ideally at a leading national or international law firm.

Our team represents clients across a diverse range of industries, including technology, aerospace and defense, government services, life sciences, energy, and financial services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent drafting and negotiating skills; the ability to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate effectively with sophisticated client management teams; and a strong interest in challenging, high-profile transactional work. Experience advising on corporate governance matters and familiarity with securities issuances or private equity financings is a plus.

A strong desire and ability to work in a collegial, team-oriented environment is essential, including a demonstrated commitment to mentoring and supervising junior associates.

The expected base salary range for this role is $260,000 to $365,000 per year. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of pay at the time of posting; the actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications. This position is eligible for additional forms of compensation, which may include annual performance bonuses and discretionary bonuses.  Employees in this role are also eligible for benefits offered by the firm, subject to applicable plan terms and conditions, which currently include medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan; and paid time off. Skills Required
