Responsibilities:

Be a leading member of the Corporate Finance team and play a key role in executing our financial forecasting processes focused on the Texas Capital Bank’s balance sheet and income statement.

Manage within deadlines from a variety of business partners including Enterprise Finance, Accounting, Investor Relations and Corporate Treasury to understand key business trends, strategies and identify opportunities to improve financial performance.

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts including variance analysis and management reporting. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Support administration of the budget and forecast process through coordination of transfers, systems and scenario changes.

Work closely and partner with key functional areas and leadership teams across the organization (Enterprise Finance, Accounting, Investor Relations, Corporate Treasury, Technology and Human Resources) to understand key business trends and identify opportunities to improve financial performance.

Build strong business partnerships at multiple levels while informing and influencing strategic decisions.

Organize complex information in a compelling way, demonstrating design acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.

Significant ad-hoc financial reporting, presentation development, and financial analysis.

Train and mentor financial analysts on the Corporate Finance team.
Requirements:

An undergraduate degree in business or related field.

5+ years supporting a finance department, FP&A or Corporate Finance.

Initiative to identify business questions, scope and logically structure an analysis, extract relevant insights, and communicate with a point-of-view.

Advanced ability to run complex reports, synthesize analysis and articulate the conclusions through verbal and written communications.

Ability to self-direct and manage competing priorities on concurrent large, complex projects, initiatives, and deliverables.

Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, financial reporting tools and financial software.
