We are looking for an Associate to join our Corporate Finance team in our HQ in Leidschendam. The Corporate Finance team sits in Global Finance and focuses on the strategic remit of the CFO including Fugro’s capital structure, strategic finance and investments. As an Associate you structure and prepare executive decision-making and manage cross functional projects.

Your role

• You will support quantification and execution of Fugro's strategy ‘Towards Full Potential’;

• You will manage cross functional projects and strategic initiatives across the business;

• You will be responsible for the overall quality and performance of the various financial models;

• You will assess investment decisions independently and support M&A with financial DD, valuation, benchmarking and cash flow analysis;

• You will perform ad hoc project work related to M&A, Financing, FP&A and Treasury;

• You will contribute towards development of financial and management talent within Fugro.

Your track record

• You have a university bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field;

• You have a strong understanding of financial statements, key performance indicators and cashflows as well as experience in forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis;

• You have relevant professional experience either in within another large corporate or in an advisory capacity. We consider it an advantage if you bring along experience in transaction services, consulting or banking;

• You maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion and integrity in all interactions;

• You apply a structure approach towards problems and project execution

• You are a relatable team player and can communicate effectively in cross functional teams;

• English at professional level is required, Dutch (>NT2/B1) is an advantage.
