The AvePoint Corporate Development team focuses on M&A, strategic growth opportunities and the continued development of AvePoint’s corporate strategy. This role offers a great opportunity to work closely with key executives and internal cross-functional stakeholders to assess, develop and execute on strategies to help direct AvePoint’s growth. 
 
What your day to day will look like:  

• Support the full lifecycle of acquisitions, including new transaction origination and deal execution including due diligence, financial modeling and negotiations
• Identify new, innovative technology trends and markets, and recommend high-potential acquisitions and investments
• Perform analysis to help assess the valuation and potential execution path forward on transactions
• Build relationships with internal cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, finance and legal functions
• Additionally, the ideal candidate is interested in taking on financial planning & analysis responsibilities over time
• Support the assessment and prioritization of corporate strategic initiatives 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• 2+ years' experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate development or financial diligence/accounting roles, ideally in the technology industry  
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrated analytical skills (including financial modelling), fluency in performing rigorous financial, valuation and other quantitative analyses
• Demonstrated experience influencing and communicating effectively across all levels and teams across the organization
• Demonstrated understanding of technology with an acumen to engage with product and engineering leaders on tech roadmaps 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in SaaS financial modelling
• Software industry experience 

The Salary Range for this role is $105,000 - $145,000. At AvePoint, we strive to offer competitive, fair, and equitable total rewards. The listed salary range represents a good faith estimate, with final offers based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications. The listed range reflects base salary only; our total rewards include base salary, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, unlimited PTO), and depending on the role, bonuses, commissions, or equity (RSUs).
