Colonial Pipeline is the largest refined products pipeline in the United States, transporting more than 100 million gallons or 2.5 million barrels per day. Colonial transports various grades of gasoline, diesel fuel, home heating oil, jet fuel, and fuels for the U.S. military through a pipeline system. About the Corporate Development Associate PositionThe Corporate Development Associate supports high-impact corporate development and strategic initiatives across the enterprise. This role is designed for professionals transitioning from investment banking into a corporate strategy and development environment while continuing to apply rigorous financial, analytical, and transaction skillsets.
In this role, you will move from advisory execution to principal-side ownership of analysis, gaining direct exposure to strategic decision-making, long-term value creation, and operational outcomes. You will play a critical role in executing complex initiatives such as M&A transactions, asset evaluations, and internal optimization efforts, while partnering closely with senior leadership.

- Build and maintain financial models and valuation analyses
- Prepare investment memos and business cases
- Coordinate cross-functional due diligence
- Conduct market and industry analysis
- Develop executive presentations

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of investment banking experience
- Strong financial modeling and valuation experience
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- MBA or CFA (or progress toward CFA)
- Experience with end-to-end deal execution
- Power BI or data visualization experience
- Executive presentation skills
