The Corporate Development Analyst is an integral part of Oshkosh’s Corporate Development team, supporting enterprise-wide strategy development activities and global strategic initiatives including merger and acquisition (“M&A”) and venture capital (“VC”) activities.YOUR IMPACTThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned.
- Support M&A and VC processes including company assessment and analysis, valuation (DCF, comparable public companies, and precedent M&A transactions), and due diligence process (data gathering and data room maintenance).
- Support development of the enterprise-wide strategic plans and other materials which are presented to the Oshkosh Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
- Provide analysis and guidance to support development of strategic plans for segments, business units, and functions, and key initiatives based on the needs and strategic direction of Oshkosh businesses.
- Perform market and target research, including business and product profiles and industry trends. Select detailed reporting is used by the Oshkosh Leadership Team in preparation for earnings calls and other key presentations.
- Prepare presentations on transaction opportunities, structures and valuations.
- Lead initiatives to optimize and automate standard reporting, procedures, and Corporate Development processes through the strategic implementation of AI and other automation technologies.
- Develop and maintain Corporate Development templates, standard work instructions, and training materials.
- Actively participate in Corporate Development continuous feedback and mentoring sessions. Sessions help create upward and downward coaching and leadership skills required for a business leader to be successful.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent field.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
- 1-3 years work experience.
- Prior experience working in, or with, a Manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market and financial data and make thoughtful business recommendations.
- Ability to communicate complex models and concepts.
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
Pay Range:
$57,600.00 - $90,400.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
