About the Role
At Omnicell, innovation starts with people. In this role, you will join the Legal team supporting North America Commercial Contracts and help shape what’s next in healthcare by negotiating smart, practical agreements for complex commercial offerings.
You will partner across Sales, Legal, Finance, Revenue Recognition, Product, Compliance, and customer teams to move deals forward with clarity, sound judgment, and a one-team mindset
What You’ll Do
• Lead review, drafting, and negotiation of commercial agreements, including amendments, statements of work, confidentiality agreements, and hardware, software, XaaS, and SaaS offerings.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contract terms, obligations, risks, and practical business solutions in plain language.
• Coordinate with Legal, Sales, Contracts, Finance, Revenue Recognition, Regulatory, Deal Desk, Compliance, Product, and IT Security teams to support accurate, timely contracting.
• Negotiate legal documents that align business goals, customer needs, revenue priorities, and risk considerations.
• Keep stakeholders informed on negotiation status, key terms, risks, and issues that may impact deal execution.
• Build trusted relationships with internal teams and external customers while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
What You Bring (basic requirements)
• J.D. and membership in good standing with a state bar.
• 3+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• 3+ years of experience collaborating with internal stakeholders during contract negotiations.
• 3+ years of experience with complex technology transactions.
• Strong contract negotiation skills and understanding of common legal and business terms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex legal topics into everyday language.
• Sound judgment, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to balance speed with accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a sales and service-focused environment with quarterly or yearly deadlines.
• Experience with fast-growing technology companies, publicly traded companies, or healthcare technology organizations.
• Healthcare equipment or healthcare technology industry experience.
• Experience using Salesforce, CRM platforms, or contract management tools.
• Basic knowledge of data privacy laws, HIPAA, and SaaS practices involving the security and processing of PII and/or PHI.
• Curiosity, learning agility, and adaptability to evolving technologies, policies, and ways of working.
