Role overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Counsel, Contracting to join our Legal team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience, with a strong focus on contract negotiation and drafting, contract-related process management, and the implementation of contract-related technology tools.
What you'll do
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, efficiently and effectively accounting for company policies and stakeholder objectives.
- Provide clear and concise legal advice to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
- Develop and implement contract management processes to streamline the lifecycle of contracts from initiation to execution.
- Develop guides, template agreements, and other enabling resources.
- Train and support internal stakeholders in the use of contract-related workflows.
- Utilize technology tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the contract management process.
- Stay current with emerging contract management technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
What you'll bring
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing.
- 5-10 years of experience, with a strong emphasis on contract review and drafting.
- Proven experience in managing contract-related processes and utilizing contract management technology tools.
