We are looking for a pragmatic problem solver with a passion for, and experience with, privacy, security, and technology who can work well in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. This is an in-person role and is based in our Atlanta (GA) office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Draft, negotiate, and close privacy and data protection agreements with customers.
Support commercial attorneys on data protection issues in negotiations.
Support department management with evaluating security-related issues in negotiations.
Research and analyze new and evolving data governance regulations related to privacy and data compliance.
Support continuous improvements of templates, policies and processes to support privacy team compliance efforts.
3+ years of substantive privacy or commercial legal experience, with an expressed interest in privacy and/or data compliance
Knowledge of (or demonstrated interest in) worldwide data protection regulations, including GDPR and HIPAA
Exceptional organizational, project management, and prioritization skills
The ability to think and execute both strategically and tactically
Outstanding written and oral communications skills
The ability to work with a wide variety of people, at all levels in the organization, in a fast-paced environment
Service-oriented, professional and strong integrity
