The Job:
Reporting to the SVP Finance and Chief Accounting Officer, this is a thought leadership position within the CAO organization who collaborates extensively with key business stakeholders and cross-functional leaders throughout the company to drive policy governance and scalability initiatives on business processes. This senior finance position will provide a point of view and drive transformation projects that may span multiple disciplines.
In your capacity as Global Corporate Controller, you will oversee the preparation and reporting of all financial statements and analysis, ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations, and manage a team of accounting professionals.
You Will:
- Directly responsible for accounting (GL, AP, month and quarter end close, system implementations, subsidiary setup and compliance), treasury and tax compliance
- Drive operational excellence for financial processes
- Reduce time to close by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to automate or streamline manual close and reporting processes
- Ensure a successful and timely annual audit
- Lead/co-lead business process solution design/redesign and implementation
- Drive data transformation to deliver faster and richer insights in support of data-driven decision making
- Partner with business operations to forecast accounting implications of investments
- Understand business to optimize the financials and presentation
- Develop a high-performance team, establish and continuously improve business processes and procedures to drive scalability in a high growth environment
- IPO readiness: fast, accurate and timely close, SOX like controls and sub-certifications
- Strong financial processes, US and international operations experience along with US GAAP technical accounting knowledge
- Oversee global consolidation and partner with finance operations leader on key initiatives
You Have:
- 15+ years of relevant experience
- BS or equivalent in accounting or finance
- CPA
- Experience managing and running controllership functions at complex and multi-national publicly traded companies; IPO experience a plus
- Strong analytical skills with experience in implementing various analytical techniques for Close cycle
- Experience in managing a global team
- Strong leadership, communication, organization and technology skills
- Strong business acumen
- Executive presence and ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
Base Salary Range: $194,063 to $284,625. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to work location and experience. The base salary is one component of 6sense’s total compensation package for this position. Other compensation may include a bonus program or commission plan, and stock options if approved by 6sense’s board. In addition, 6sense provides a variety of benefits, including generous health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, self-care days, and paid time off (PTO). #Li-remote
