We are seeking a Corporate Controller to lead the company's global accounting and financial reporting function. Reporting to the CFO, this role is accountable for the performance, quality, and continuous improvement of multiple related accounting teams, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant financial information to support business objectives.
The Corporate Controller plays a critical leadership role in developing departmental plans, aligning resources to organizational priorities, and driving operational excellence across the accounting function. What You'll Do Lead the Global Accounting Function- Provide leadership to managers and professional staff across multiple accounting areas (e.g., AP/AR, GL, and consolidations)
- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation processes are accurate and on time
- Oversee global accounting operations, ensuring alignment with business needs and organizational objectives
- Own the preparation and delivery of internal and external financial reporting in accordance with IFRS or US GAAP
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and tax requirements across jurisdictions
- Lead the external audit process and maintain strong relationships with auditors and advisors
- Establish and maintain a robust internal control environment, including SOX where applicable
- Develop and execute departmental plans covering operational priorities, process improvements, and organizational initiatives
- Align team objectives and resources with annual business plans and company strategy
- Decide on priorities and trade-offs based on resource availability and organizational goals
- Continuously assess and optimize team structure, capacity, and capability
- Identify and resolve complex accounting, operational, and organizational challenges
