The Corporate Communications Manager will support the development and execution of internal communication strategies that align with Curriculum Associates’ mission, values, and business objectives. This role will play a key part in connecting employees across the organization, ensuring consistent and transparent communication, and fostering a culture of engagement and inclusion.
The Manager will help tell the story of “Life at CA” by supporting company-wide messaging and assisting in the execution of communication campaigns that inform, inspire, and align team members. Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications, this role collaborates closely with the People & Culture (P&C) team, External Communications, and business leaders to create a unified and authentic internal voice that reflects CA’s purpose-driven culture. By fostering meaningful employee connections and communicating the stories that define CA, this role helps strengthens our internal community and reinforces CA’s reputation as a mission-driven, world-class employer.
Strategic Communications Execution
Support the execution of a comprehensive internal communications plan aligned with company goals and culture.
Manage day-to-day internal communication initiatives, including the company intranet, newsletters, and employee announcements.
Coordinate messaging across internal channels to ensure clarity, consistency, and accessibility.
Partner cross-functionally with business units and senior leaders to ensure employees have the information they need to understand company priorities.
Identify and implement new tools and best practices to engage remote and hybrid teams.
Employee Engagement and Culture Building
Create compelling content for internal platforms—such as recognition posts, spotlights, and leadership messages—that amplify CA’s culture.
Use employee feedback and engagement data to inform communication plans and messaging.
Contribute to initiatives that celebrate company milestones, employee achievements, and community impact.
Employer Brand and Storytelling
Create internal content that reflects and promotes the CA employee experience, highlighting the company’s mission, values, and accomplishments.
Contribute to employer brand initiatives by crafting stories that authentically represent “Life at CA.”
Collaborate with P&C and External Communications to align internal and external brand narratives.
Solicit positive reviews for Glassdoor and devise other campaigns to improve GD ratings
Executive and Organizational Communications
Work with full Internal Communications team to draft messages, FAQs, employee updates, and talking points.
Help coordinate logistics and content for all-employee meetings, such as CEO updates and Town Halls.
Assist with leadership communication materials to ensure transparency and clear alignment with strategic priorities.
Develop and distribute regular updates to help employees stay informed about company progress and initiatives.
Measurement and Continuous Improvement
Monitor key metrics (e.g., open rates, engagement data, survey feedback) to assess communication effectiveness.
Prepare reports and insights to support continuous improvement within the internal communications function.
Suggest adjustments and creative solutions to optimize reach, readability, and engagement across channels.
Collaboration and Team Partnership
Partner with the Director, Internal Communications to ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and strategy across all communications.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues across the company to enhance information flow.
Manage projects and priorities effectively, ensuring timely delivery of content and campaigns.
What we’re looking for:
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging messages.
Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust and relationships across teams.
A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and employee engagement; ability to develop innovation solutions for communication challenges and engagement.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with communication measurement tools and methods for tracking engagement and impact.
Solid project management skills
Alignment with CA’s mission to make classrooms better places for teachers and students.
BA in communications, public relations, English, journalism, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, public relations, or related fields.
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
Familiarity with intranet platforms, content management systems (CMS), and analytics tools.
Travel: Up to 10% to company offices
Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay Range – This role’s range is $69,250 - $118,250. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
