WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Corporate Communications Executive supports the company’s external communications, media engagement, and corporate storytelling efforts.
This is an execution-driven role for someone who can independently drive day-to-day communications work while aligning closely with senior leadership on messaging direction. You will be responsible for developing press materials, managing media interactions, supporting corporate narrative development, and maintaining owned channels.
Narrative Development & Corporate Messaging
- Translate business updates, milestones, and data into clear, structured narratives across press materials, LinkedIn, reports, and award submissions.
- Draft and refine corporate messaging to ensure consistency across external communications.
- Develop award submissions, including structuring narratives and articulating impact and differentiation.
- Ensure communications materials are accurate, well-substantiated, and aligned with company positioning.
- Flag potential inconsistencies or sensitivities in messaging for discussion with senior stakeholders.
Media Relations & Press Materials
- Develop first drafts of press releases, media statements, pitches, and talking points with minimal supervision.
- Liaise directly with journalists for pitching, follow-ups, and clarifications.
- Support and coordinate responses to media enquiries, ensuring alignment with approved messaging.
- Maintain and strengthen media contact relationships.
Owned Channels & Content Management
- Manage the company’s LinkedIn presence, including content planning, copywriting, and publishing.
- Adapt messaging for different audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
- Track content performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement.
Impact Reports & Strategic Storytelling
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather data and insights for impact and stakeholder reports.
- Draft and structure written reports, ensuring clarity, narrative flow, and data accuracy.
- Translate quantitative data into accessible, audience-appropriate content.
Media Monitoring & Reporting
- Conduct ongoing media monitoring and track relevant industry and competitor coverage.
- Prepare structured summaries and highlight key developments for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation and tracking of communications activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with business teams to gather accurate inputs and clarify messaging.
- Support communications projects across departments as required.
RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For
- Fresh graduate or up to 1 - 2 years of experience in strategic communications, public relations, journalism, or corporate communications.
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with data and translating it into clear language
- Organized and able to manage multiple small tasks at once
- Proactive, curious, and willing to learn
- Basic understanding of social media and digital content
