Your New Role

As the Corporate Communications and Reporting Manager you will be responsible for leading the Fund’s approach to corporate reporting and the development, implementation and management of the Fund’s corporate narratives, key messages, and communication strategies in a way that enhances the Fund’s trustworthiness and transparency, and positions AustralianSuper as Australia’s leading super fund in the world’s best system for members.

The Corporate Communications and Reporting Manager will work closely with other colleagues in Corporate Affairs and broadly across the Fund to ensure AustralianSuper’s corporate communications are timely, accurate, compliant, engaging and consistent.

 

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the delivery of AustralianSuper’s suite of corporate reports in Australia and globally, to meet regulatory requirements and position the Fund as open and transparent this includes the Annual Report.

  • Ensure public information regarding the Fund is current and compliant including maintenance of information on the corporate pages of the website regarding personnel, governance, appointments, among other areas.

  • Responsible for the maintenance and ongoing development of the Fund’s corporate narratives and key messages, ensuring content is up-to-date and compliant with an established governance framework.

  • Develop and manage multi-channel communications strategies for specific projects across the Fund, including working with channel/relationship owners to ensure cohesive execution of the agreed messaging.

  • Support the Chair, Chief Executive and Chief Strategy Officer with communications advice, speaking notes and briefing materials as required.

  • Drive the development of the Fund’s approach to corporate content and social media, to support amplification of corporate narratives, disclosures and strategic priorities.

  • Oversee corporate content planning across multiple channels (website, social media, corporate publications) for the Corporate Affairs and CSR team, including onboarding and managing a digital content agency, if required.

 

What You’ll Need 

  • Extensive experience in corporate communications or corporate affairs.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a capability to adapt to the nuances of each topic, situation and stakeholder need.

  • An ability to take both a strategic and tactical approach to communications.

  • Proven skills in corporate reporting in a highly regulated environment.

  • Proven ability to manage complex deliverables with multiple stakeholders.

  • Ability to build strong strategic messaging to enhance the reputation of an organisation.

  • Well-organised and focused on achieving business outcomes and overall business objectives.
