As a Corporate Actions Associate, you'll be responsible for performing control reconciliations against market sources, investigating market allocations, and focusing on process re-engineering and automation.
In this role you will be facing different challenges such as:
- Resolving daily queries from our many stakeholders from the business
- Performing daily analytical activities associated with the announcement and processing of Mandatory Reorganization events
- Working with various partners including Agents, Issuers, Exchanges and other Depositories and insure timely development functions
Job Responsibilities:
- Process mandatory events, ensuring all valid mandatory corporate actions have been captured in the system and set up for client notification.
- Adjust the client accounts to reflect the exchanges.
- Review all applicable reorg accounts and resolving outstanding breaks related to mandatory corporate actions or redemptions.
- Handle of all the inquiries regarding mandatory events processed by the team.
- Ensure timelines and client service delivery standards are continually achieved.
- Escalate issues in a timely manner
- Perform numerous control reconciliations to verify trading positions are accurate to middle office reconciliations
- Investigate and provide solutions to various queries from settlements and confirmations
- Complete operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations/technology enhancements (new system implementations)
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Graduate or bachelor student
- Proficiency with Excel
- Advanced English
- Team player and willingness to collaborate
- Sense of accountability and ownership of issues until resolution
- Relevant experience in related functions or business is a plus
- Ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Exceptional problem / issue resolution skills
- Relationship building skills, strong ability to develop partnerships to drive results
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
- Client Orientation
- Strong logical/analytical mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
