Corporate Accounting Intern

What success looks like in this role:

• Gains familiarity with standard accounting concepts, practices and methodologies.
• With guidance, performs routine accounting duties, including:
 o Day-to-day journal entry and posting,
 o Monthly and recurring entry for accrued revenue and expenses,
 o Bank and balance sheet reconciliation,
 o Fixed asset and depreciation and assessment,
 o Monthly closing,
 o Chart of account maintenance,
 o Coordination of accounting matters with other departments and with internal and external auditors as required.
• Learns and complies with US GAAP, IFRS and other relevant regulatory and company standards.
• Assists with special projects as assigned.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 0-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience

This role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology.  Therefore, to conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
