About The Opportunity
Menasha Corporation is seeking an experienced Corporate Accounting Director to lead all phases of the Corporation’s accounting policies, internal control environment, internal and external financial reporting, and consolidated financial analysis. This role will manage and lead teams that compile and analyze financial information, perform financial forecasting, and reconcile internal accounts. The Corporate Accounting Director will report directly to the Vice President, Corporate Controller and partner with other senior leadership to ensure compliance with accounting standards and optimize financial reporting processes. The Corporate Accounting Director will play a crucial role in supporting the company's strategic growth initiatives and maintaining robust financial controls.
This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with a deep understanding of GAAP and a strategic mindset to align accounting practices with corporate goals. You should thrive in a dynamic environment where your expertise in financial reporting and internal controls can directly impact the success of our organization.
Core Duties:
Accounting Policies & Financial Reporting:

Develop, maintain, and revise corporate-wide accounting and financial reporting policies.

Implement, document, and maintain an adequate and effective system of sound financial and internal controls.

Supervise the consolidation of the corporation’s financial statements and report actual operating performance against the approved budget, forecast, and prior years to corporate and operating company management.
Compliance Oversight & Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

Assist in the preparation of information required for the audit committee of the board of directors and the full board of directors.

Participate in and may direct various corporate financial accounting projects such as the annual audit and financial systems development.
Leadership & Team Development:

Provide leadership and support to the AP/AR Director as needed.

Assist in mentoring and development of the accounting team.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that accounting considerations are integrated into the business strategy.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:

Perform a variety of recurring and ad hoc analysis of financial results and trends for the Vice President, Corporate Controller.

Administer the development and maintenance of methods for tracking and controlling all company assets.
Innovation & Process Improvement:

Identify, drive, and implement process improvements that leverage technology and best practices.

Participate in and may direct strategic and long-range planning processes for the corporation.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s required/Master’s Degree preferred

CPA certification required
-
Minimum of 10 years of experience in public and corporate accounting

Strong GAAP knowledge

Excellent oral and written communication skills and business professionalism

Significant experience with Microsoft Office suite of products; Hyperion and SAP experience preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability and desire to interact with all levels of employees within the organization
