MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience required.
- Corporate or multi-property hospitality accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with accounting systems such as Aptech PVNG, OnQ PMS, or similar a plus.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and monthly account reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and financial statement preparation.
- Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions.
- Review and verify the accuracy of invoices, expense allocations, and coding.
- Support the Corporate Director of Centralized Accounting in consolidating and analyzing financial data across multiple entities.
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor requests as needed.
- Maintain organized accounting records and documentation for compliance and reporting.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
