We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Accounting Team. This role will support all aspects of the accounting cycle with general accounting tasks and a primary focus on Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice processing, vendor payments, and related reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
 • Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and reporting.

• Support Accounts Payable, including processing invoices, coding expenses, and assisting with payment runs.

• Liaison (together with their manager) between department executives and the accounting department Special projects as assigned Perform other duties as required and assigned by manager and upper management.

•Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.

• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits and internal reviews

• Provide backup support for other accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 0 -2 years of accounting experience
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Basic knowledge of Oracle accounting software helpful but not required
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
