About You

As a Corporate Accountant, you play a vital role in measuring and analyzing the financial success of the company.

Responsibilities 

  • Complete general ledger entries and manage cash balances.
  • Review the consolidated financial statement of the organization and analyze data for the purpose of supporting business decision-making.
  • Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate billing, as well as preparation of accounting related entries to various general ledgers.
  • Assist with processing of payroll journal entries.
  • Prepare monthly financial packages for various departments. 
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Review and post invoices from P2P Yardi Full service and cut checks as needed.
  • Review monthly expenses and enter monthly accruals.
  • Assist with annual external audit.
  • Draft and manage internal schedules related to development work in process and related GP loans. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting strongly preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience

  • 3+ years in an Accountant position required.

Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, One Note, Outlook, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat, and Yardi (or similar software).
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with wide range of people.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and have good time management skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, understanding that your scheduled workdays may vary according to staffing and property needs.

Compensation and Benefits for Corporate Accountant: 

Pay Range: $57,900 - $76,100 

Compensation is determined by several factors that vary depending on the position, including the individual’s experience, skills, and the knowledge they bring to the specific role.
