Assists the Children's Wisconsin Foundation's Corporate Philanthropy and Engagement team with the planning, administration and execution of corporate partnerships. Key areas of support include Children's Miracle Network (CMN) campaigns, local cause marketing initiatives, event sponsorships and other corporate philanthropy programs.
This role contributes to partner engagement and fundraising efforts through stewardship activities, campaign material development, event support, prospect research and donor database management. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Philanthropy and Engagement, the position collaborates closely with team members to strengthen corporate relationships and advance Children's Wisconsin's mission and fundraising goals.
*SPECIAL NOTE: This is a year round internship. Applicants will need to be within driving distance to Children's Wisconsin Milwaukee campus.
Requirements:
- Working toward a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related field at an accredited college or university required.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office and Google products.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical skills necessary to effectively work through assigned tasks.
- Ability to commute to the corporate office on a weekly basis and drive to corporate partner site visits on a weekly and/or monthly basis.
- Ability to work on a part-time schedule for approximately one year.
