ABOUT THE COMPANY

Its primary focus is delivering high-quality solutions in the DACH region. With a commitment to excellence, LITIT combines the best of German precision, Japanese work ethics, and Lithuanian talent to provide unparalleled IT service and support to its clients.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Core Lead Developer to act as the senior technical backbone of the Core & Platform stream. The role works closely with the interim Product Owner, providing the technical leadership and expertise needed to support both strategic platform decisions and day-to-day development activities.
The ideal candidate brings deep, multi-module ServiceNow expertise, extending beyond ITSM into areas such as ITOM, SPM, HAM/SAM, or GRC, depending on the scope. They will be responsible for ensuring scalable, secure, maintainable, and consistent platform solutions while working closely with Solution and Enterprise Architecture.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring strong ServiceNow platform architecture knowledge, integration expertise, and the ability to translate complex technical decisions into clear recommendations for Product Owners, Project Managers, and other non-technical stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the senior technical lead for the Core & Platform stream and provide technical guidance to the development team.
Make technical decisions that go beyond individual user stories, considering architecture, interfaces, scalability, maintainability, and long-term platform strategy.
Design and develop solutions across the ServiceNow platform and multiple modules.
Own and contribute to platform architecture, including CMDB, CSDM, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, ACLs, GlideRecord and GlideAjax.
Design and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and event-driven integration patterns.
Ensure CSDM-based data modelling and maintain high standards for data quality and platform consistency.
Apply security and performance best practices, including effective ACL design and appropriate use of ServiceNow security capabilities.
Support ServiceNow release and upgrade cycles, including deprecation management and technical impact assessment.
Identify and manage technical debt, making informed decisions around custom development versus OOTB functionality.
Work closely with Solution and Enterprise Architects to ensure platform decisions align with the broader enterprise architecture.
Provide technical input into backlog prioritisation, refinement, estimation, and solution design within a SAFe/Scrum environment.
Conduct or support code reviews, development standards, and technical quality assurance.
Mentor and support developers from a technical perspective where required.
Translate complex technical options and trade-offs into clear, business-oriented recommendations for Product Owners, Project Managers, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with the interim Product Owner as part of the dual-lead model, complementing the product and business perspective with strong technical leadership.
