In this role, you’ll drive new business, shape client success and own outcomes that increase revenue, improve operations, and create long-term value. You will lead the full sales cycle, influence decision-making and bring the power of Genius® and other Global Payment solutions to life for businesses across your market.
What you’ll own- Drive new business growth by creating opportunities through field outreach, digital engagement and local networking
- Own the full sales cycle, turning conversations into revenue and delivering consistent results in your territory
- Build trusted relationships with business owners, positioning yourself as a go-to advisor who understands their goals
- Deliver compelling, value-driven presentations that show how Genius® and other Global Payment solutions improve operations, increases loyalty and fuels growth
- Shape your territory strategy using market insights, strengthening your pipeline and accelerating deal momentum
- Expand Global Payments’ impact by introducing innovative solutions that help businesses operate smarter and grow faster
- Strengthen long-term client value by identifying opportunities to expand solutions and deepen relationships
- Spend up to 75% of your time in the field, creating meaningful, face-to-face connections that drive results
- At least one year of success in B2B or business-to-consumer (B2C) outside sales, with a track record of delivering results
- Strong ability to communicate, present and negotiate, both in person and virtually
- Confidence building relationships quickly and earning trust with business owners
- A competitive, self-driven mindset with the energy to achieve and exceed goals
- Ability to think like a client and connect solutions to real business outcomes
- Valid driver’s license and comfort spending up to 75% of your time in the field
- Residence within two hours of the territory to stay connected and responsive

- A proven ability to upsell and cross-sell existing merchants on new features, software add-ons, and hardware upgrades.
- Experience working with the restaurant, retail and/or service industries is a plus.
- Two full years of B2B Outside Sales experience, preferably in fintech, merchant services or Saas.

Compensation
