Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Database Administrator (f/m/d) to join our department Infrastructure Technologies based in Marignane, France.

Your future missions : 

You will be part of a team managing different Database Technologies supported by the Airbus Helicopters' Hosting & Cloud Services - Infrastructure Technologies. 

Your main missions will be : 

• Manage and optimize production, development and test environments for ORACLE, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and other DB technologies.

• Collaborate with System Architects to ensure the database layer meets the rigorous performance requirements.

• Perform regular maintenance, including backups, restores, and statistics calculations to ensure high availability

• Support and backup the database product manager.

• Maintain databases of critical applications of Airbus helicopters (e.g. 3DEXPERIENCE)

Your profile :

• Master degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in management of ORACLE, SQL Server or PostgreSQL databases.

• Knowledge in scripting languages to develop automation and analysis.

• Proficiency in creating and managing technical documentation.

• Curious, open-minded, collaborative team player with strong communication skills.

• Autonomous, organized, delivery/customer-oriented, technology enthusiast and crisis facing robustness.

• Experience working on projects with international teams and stakeholders.

• Fluency in English (working language). German is a plus.
