Copywriter

SUMMARY: 

We are seeking an inspired Copywriter to join the Creative Team. You will contribute to the brand voice and craft compelling copy across all touchpoints (flexing to more emotional work as well as the conversion-driving hard-hitting stuff). You are a self-starter, clear communicator, a creative writer and a grammar-lover. You’re passionate about storytelling, problem-solving and wordsmithing. We want to hear your unique, big ideas and provide you with an environment in which you can grow and develop your craft.

Reports to: SVP of Marketing

Location: LA Based (in office Tu/Th)

What You’ll Do:

• Craft flawless copy that drives brand awareness, customer conversion and retention.
• Write ads, emails, organic social posts, product copy, website copy and marketing collateral.
• Contribute to brand messaging for larger company initiatives as well as creative campaign concepts.
• Manage relationships and meetings with partnering departments to discuss copy needs.
• Report into SVP Marketing and partner with other creative team members to ensure deliverables are managed, met and completed on time.
• Nerd out on words – polish every line until it shines.
• Adhere to our brand style guide and help to evolve it as needed.
• Understand the competitive landscape in terms of voice, marketing and messaging – and continue to educate yourself through research.
• Uphold editorial integrity and ensure all Parachute copy remains unique.
• Have fun and take pride in helping our community feel at home.

Who You Are:

• 3-5 years of experience copywriting in ecommerce and/or advertising.
• Fastidious attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly produce sharp copy.
• Be strategic, self-motivated and accountable; receive and utilize feedback. 
• Work effectively in a team environment as well as independently. 
• Superior time management and organizational skills.

Parachute takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. The estimated pay range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 plus annual bonus.
