OVERVIEW
J.Crew is looking for a men’s copywriter to create and manage all men’s product copy, and to write copy for site, email, social media, and other channels as needed. In addition to being a strong writer, the candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, curious, and adept at building relationships within J.Crew.
This copywriter would be responsible for writing, coordinating, and maintaining all copy related to online product descriptions, including naming products. Additionally, the copywriter would be responsible for contributing copy for our men's emails, homepages, site features, store signs, and social media channels, with frequent opportunities to contribute elsewhere as needed or as desired.
In addition, the copywriter must be a strong cross-divisional partner with merchants, designers, marketing team members, and art directors.

Research and write copy for men’s marketing touchpoints, including product descriptions, email, website, social media, print and more.

Collaborate with the merchandising and design teams to create accurate, compelling product stories for various platforms.

Work with proofreading and project management teams to organize product information and streamline processes.

Take the lead on product naming, from brainstorming ideas to securing legal approval.

BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform essential functions of the job.

English, Journalism, Creative Writing, Communications, or Advertising preferred.

2-3 years of relevant experience (retail, advertising, marketing, publishing and/or editorial).

Talent for language, and a strong interest in fashion and marketing trends.

Detail-oriented team player with creative problem solving and excellent communication skills.

Experience and interest in the ever-changing world of men’s style.

Salary Range: $64,200.00 - $77,000.00

The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
