POSITION: Copywriter/ 1099 Contract
LOCATION: Remote
Red Carrot requires a talented freelance copywriter for a short-term project. This role involves an initial commitment of approximately 30 hours per week for the first two weeks, followed by fewer hours as the project progresses. The project is expected to conclude within a month. The hours will be more flexible after the initial two-week period.
Project Deliverables:
- Develop compelling copy for marketing sales sheets and campaigns.
- Conduct necessary research to support content creation (may include interviews)
- Ensure all copy adheres to plain language guidelines and achieves a 100% editor score in MS Word.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in copywriting, preferably within the housing, financial, or real estate industries.
- Proven track record of creating engaging and compliant marketing campaign content.
- Familiarity with Government plain language guidelines.
This is a remote position and the hours will be more flexible after the initial two-week period.
