We are seeking a senior-level SailPoint IdentityNow/IdentityIQ consultant to support a Fortune 50 client undergoing a strategic migration from Saviynt to SailPoint. The consultant will lead the assessment of the current-state architecture, review the in-progress migration strategy, and provide expert guidance on the target-state IAM solution. This role requires a combination of hands-on SailPoint expertise, strong architectural acumen, and the ability to communicate clearly with technical teams, project stakeholders, and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the in-progress migration from Saviynt to SailPoint, identifying architectural strengths, risks, and misalignments.
- Review current-state design, integrations, and configuration of IAM workflows across both platforms.
- Evaluate the target-state architecture and provide recommendations to optimize functionality, scalability, and compliance.
- Partner with internal IAM, security, and IT teams to define a viable migration path and roadmap.
- Engage stakeholders (including non-technical leaders) to articulate technical risks, dependencies, and recommended decisions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline identity lifecycle management, access governance, and role engineering using SailPoint capabilities.
- Document findings, recommendations, and a proposed action plan for course correction if needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in IAM with a focus on SailPoint IdentityNow or IdentityIQ architecture and implementation.
- Strong familiarity with Saviynt, including conceptual differences and practical migration considerations.
- Proven experience leading or advising on IAM platform migrations.
- Hands-on technical skills in SailPoint configuration, connector setup, and rule development.
- Ability to analyze complex enterprise IAM environments with diverse applications and integration points.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—must be able to translate technical content for leadership.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, energy).
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, or SOX.
- Background in role-based access control (RBAC) modeling and identity lifecycle optimization.
- Prior experience supporting Fortune 100 or large global enterprise clients.
