Job Purpose
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our MEP team. This internship provides hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, offering an opportunity to work on real-world projects and gain valuable industry insights. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has a strong interest in MEP systems, and is ready to contribute to our projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and drafting of MEP systems using CAD and BIM software
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop technical documentation
- Support the review and analysis of project specifications, drawings, and codes
- Participate in site visits and inspections to gain practical experience in fieldwork
- Conduct research and provide recommendations for improving MEP systems and processes
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and project documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned by the MEP team

Requirements
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, or a related field
- Basic understanding of MEP systems and principles
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
The ability to carry up to 50 lbs. of drawings and carry and/or climb ladders is a requirement of the position.
