About the role:
We are seeking an analytics consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about data, eager to learn and excited to work directly with clients.
What you'll do:
- Organize regular client check-ins and follow-up meetings
- Deliver client projects with guidance from management
- Participate in client meetings and clarify requirements
- Create dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Write SQL queries to combine and transform data into usable formats (with some guidance)
- Develop multi-source data connections that are performant and reliable
- Collaborate with colleagues, sharing insights and learnings
- Escalate potential blockers quickly and seek guidance when needed
- Support a culture of continuous improvement, client satisfaction, and teamwork
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and work independently with support
- Comfort with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI in a professional or academic setting
- Familiarity with SQL and data transformation concepts
- Interest in data shaping tools such as Tableau Prep, Power Query, Alteryx, or DBT
- Certification in at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Power BI)
- Prior exposure to the architecture/engineering/construction industry is an asset
