What You’ll DoThe Foundation for California Community Colleges is the official nonprofit partner to the California Community College Chancellor’s Office. We work to increase access to opportunity, strengthen communities, and accelerate paths to economic and social mobility for all Californians. We are a group of relentless optimists and innovators in education, working collaboratively with public and private partners to improve the student experience and expand pathways to economic and social mobility in communities across California. The Workforce Development team of the Foundation for California Community Colleges supports meaningful connections between students and employers in California through work-based learning and support services. Our role is to support efforts to bring relevancy and real-world experience to students in California through growing the quantity and quality of work-based learning, including job shadowing, classroom presentations, internships, apprenticeships and other job training opportunities.
The Coordinator will have the opportunity to collaborate cross-departmentally in support of FoundationCCC’s Workforce Development Department, focusing on our employer-of-record service, Career Catalyst, and Grants Administration projects. This role provides administrative and coordination support across project teams to help ensure streamlined and timely completion of workflow and project deliverables. Additionally, this role supports the coordination of critical tasks and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
Support the Career Catalyst Partner Relations team in developing and maintaining partnerships with internal and external stakeholders during business development actions up to the point of assignment and handoff to a Business Operations Coordinator.
Tracking business opportunities in Salesforce, scheduling business development calls, optimizing documents for clients, collecting certificates for contracts
Support the Career Catalyst Business Operations team in maintaining partnerships with internal and external stakeholders from the point of new client handoff.
Scheduling meetings and trainings, maintaining accurate records in Salesforce and Workday
Support the Grants Administration team in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with funder guidelines.
Reviewing grants management system to ensure accuracy and completeness
Conduct outreach to grantees and payment recipients
Collect and review documentation to maintain compliance with funder guidelines
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Previous experience in a coordination or administrative role.
Familiarity with project management principles is desirable.
Demonstrated experience with web-based tools and platforms such as Microsoft Suite, Asana, and Salesforce.

Budgeted Hourly Pay Range:
$26.00 - $26.00Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
