Coordinator of Shuttles

Southeastern Louisiana University’s Department of Transportation Services invites applications for the position of Coordinator of Shuttles. The Coordinator of Shuttles oversees the daily operations of the university’s transportation system and serves as the primary supervisor and point of contact for professional shuttle drivers. This position ensures safe, reliable, and efficient shuttle operations while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations. The Coordinator serves as both a working supervisor and a driver when needed, supporting operations as needed. This position reports directly to the Director of Transportation Services.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement (required)
Experience operating commercial passenger vehicles
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university by hire date
Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
