Job Description
This position is responsible for providing effective support services to the organization's sales force by using knowledge of company products and programs to achieve sales objectives and drive revenue under limited supervision. The incumbent maintains positive relationships with internal and external contacts to achieve customer retention by responding to inquiries or resolving issues.
This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Cincinnati, OH) and partially from home.
What you do:
- Work with insurance brokers to strategize and illustrate disability income case plan designs based on individual client need.
- Successfully process applications through the underwriting and issuance process while ensuring they meet internal, underwriting, and appropriate regulatory rules and guidelines.
- Produce quotes for brokers as needed.
- Communicate by phone or written correspondence with potential/current customers or field partners to answer questions, process transactions, and deliver service solutions.
- Respond (timely and accurately) to inquiries and assist with preparation of reports or other sales materials to support the sales teams.
- Monitor progress during the entire lifecycle of a case.
- Follow processes to maintain data and document procedural or system related problems as they arise.
- Maintain a basic understanding of various insurance products and their features and limitations.
What you bring:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Less than 2 years of related experience required.
- Insurance industry experience is desired.
