Regional Operations Support Coordinator I Job Description

Position Summary

The Regional Operations Support Coordinator is responsible for managing the customer experience for an assigned regional rep base, as well as the corresponding sales backlog for that group. This individual provides customer correspondence in an efficient and professional manner, to provide first contact resolution and create loyal and satisfied customers through consistent superior service.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned regional sales rep base and develop an intimate knowledge of each account.

  • Manage daily operation coordination for assigned regional rep base to meet customer expectations and company goals.

  • Manage and maintain regional order backlog for respective rep assignments to ensure timely order processing and delivery.

  • Demonstrate superior service for our customers on each point of contact as defined by company standards.

  • Provide direction and guidance to internal teams to achieve performance targets.

  • Accept and process sales orders timely, this includes verifying orders for accuracy.

  • Source sales order to the appropriate distribution center and/or stocking location by utilizing national inventory and backorder to location to minimize freight cost and ensure the order is delivered to the customer on time.

  • Manage the material requirement planning (MRP) process for assigned reps to replenish inventory levels.

  • Coordinate customers pick up orders in the Will Call center by partnering with the production team to plan and execute daily order schedule.

  • Identify, communicate, and resolve any problems in the fulfillment process.

Experience and Skill Required

  • Entry Level Position

  • High School Diploma

  • 1 - 3 years Customer Service experience

  • Type minimum of 35wpm

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork ability

Candidate must be able to work on site at our Southeastern Distribution Center in Lumberton, NC
