Position Summary:
The Production Control Coordinator plans, schedules, and monitors manufacturing activities to ensure the timely production and delivery of products. This position coordinates production schedules, manages inventory levels, and communicates with cross-functional teams to resolve material shortages and production issues. The coordinator analyzes production data, maintains accurate records in ERP/MRP systems, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflow, reduce lead times, and improve on-time delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Monitor the status of work-in-process (WIP) parts daily within the assigned area.
• Ensure accurate and timely charging and movement of jobs in process.
• Ensure the transaction of material kits by operation within the assigned area or other required areas. Control and manage inventory within the assigned area or other required areas.
• Assist with the execution of daily cycle counts.
• Collaborate in the organization, coordination, and execution of Physical Inventories.
• Provide support in related and miscellaneous departmental activities.
• Comply with the safety standards and procedures established by the Organization. Must comply with and enforce each of the provisions established in TPI’s Internal Work Regulations.
• Enforce TPI’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach through risk-based thinking, while maintaining and improving Management System processes (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001). Maintain order and cleanliness within the work area (5S).
Education/ Skills/ Experience:
Education
• 1+ year of experience in a similar position (Preferred)
• Experience with cycle counting
• Use of inventory control systems
• File and record management
• Oracle system knowledge (Preferred)
• Intermediate Excel skills (Preferred)
