Job Summary**
The Coordinator II Timekeeper is responsible for accurately tracking and processing employee time for payroll, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws within Primoris Energy Services' Baton Rouge operations.
Job Responsibilities**
* Collect, review, and verify employee timecards and timesheets for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies.
* Input and reconcile time and attendance data into the payroll system, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
* Communicate with employees and supervisors regarding timecard issues, missing punches, and policy inquiries.
* Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and provide support during payroll processing cycles.
* Maintain accurate and organized timekeeping records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
* Stay updated on relevant labor laws and company policies pertaining to timekeeping and payroll.
* Generate various timekeeping reports as requested by management.
* Assist with other administrative duties as assigned to support the Baton Rouge office.
Job Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
* 2-4 years of experience in timekeeping, payroll, or administrative support, preferably in a construction or energy services environment.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
* Proficiency in timekeeping and payroll software (e.g., JD Edwards, SAP, or similar).
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
