SUMMARY
The Coordinator is responsible for learning the processes and procedures used by Masterpiece to coordinate shipments from the estimation phase through to the billing phase. The Coordinator uses this knowledge to assist the Gallery Team with a variety of daily tasks as needed, including data entry, reporting, and assistance with obtaining necessary documentation from clients. The Coordinator also coordinates small projects independently. This detail-oriented role requires strong communication and time management skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist team with daily tasks as needed, including data entry and basic reporting.
- Learn and understand basics of international shipments, including required documentation needed to be compliant with regulations.
- Liaise with clients to obtain necessary documents as required for Customs declarations.
- Learn and understand Masterpiece's processes for estimating shipments.
- Independently coordinate basic shipments
- Special projects as needed, including organization of existing data and filing, light physical office maintenance, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree preferred.
- 1-2 years minimum relevant experience.
- Customs Brokerage and/or Freight Forwarding experience preferred.
- Must have a Valid Passport
COMPENSATION
$55,000-$70,000 Annually. We consider a variety of factors in determining base compensation including but not limited to, experience, education, certifications, internal equity, market data and geography.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The position is primarily an indoor, office environment, but may require on-site work at airports, vendor and/or client locations. The position requires the ability to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors verbally and in writing, sit for periods of time, and operate typical office equipment.
