As a Coordinator, Commercial Partnerships, Columbia Records, you will play a key role in the team by supporting the tasks needed to set up and execute campaigns with streaming partners (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Pandora, etc) and in the physical space (artist webstores, indie record stores, major retailers) for all releases from our artists. Your role will include general administrative support, communicating updates across team members & departments, generating & distributing sales figures, and reports, build decks for commercial campaigns, and organizing assets & information. You will also be the point person for new market research, tracking new records and accolades across the industry, and provide insight into innovative ideas in the commercial space. This is a great opportunity to join a label Commercial Partnerships team, learn from innovative team members, and be entrusted with tasks critical to streaming and sales campaigns for our artists.
What you'll do:
- Lead in obtaining and distributing artist and product assets and key information for commercial purposes.
- Communicate and provide updated/relevant photos, cover art, and other assets for upcoming releases, artist pages, on-line banners, etc. to retail business partners.
- Manage the long-term release schedule for the label to be distributed to DSP partners
- Proactively track competitive releases and record relevant market research.
- Track and manage the accolades and any records that are broken for our artists and competitive artists across DSPs and Billboard charts.
- Liaise with the DSP release team members who oversee relationships across Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Pandora, YouTube, etc. on artist-specific campaign needs.
- Set-up and participate on retail commerce/marketing calls & meetings while taking notes to distribute to participants.
- Monitor and communicate charting information & social media posting commitments across key artist campaigns.
- Manage the process of certifying milestones for artists and products with the RIAA.
- Coordinating and distributing show tickets and passes across all partners.
- Maintain detail on advertising and budget commitments and raise purchase orders for commercial advertising campaigns.
- Generate retail marketing planners for internal use by Commercial Partnerships and marketing teams.
- Admin support & work for the Senior Vice President and Vice President of the Commercial Partnerships team.
Who you are:
- You will have at least 1 year experience with working knowledge in music industry with prior experience in streaming/sales/distribution strongly preferred.
- An extremely organized professional and be able to create and maintain very strong business relationships.
- You will have the ability to manage time and priorities set and achieve goals and juggle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.
- An exceptional communicator with extraordinary time management skills.
- A proactive, flexible, self-starter who has strong problem solving, analytic, and interpersonal skills while being able to work independently.
- Must be available on evenings & weekends for events and to monitor new music releases, chart updates, and other important campaign tentpoles

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
