To coordinate and ensure timely execution of cargo operations activities for the assigned area, including vessel load/discharge, terminal coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication, while maintaining operational accuracy, compliance, and adherence to SLAs

Responsibilities

General Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Ensure task completion as per agreed SLA with Areas / Region

a. Arrange Load/Discharge (TBU / CBF)

  • Check and trace pending containers 
  • Check customs status 
  • Check DG documentation and acceptance 
  • Review import discrepancies before vessel arrival 
  • Create and evaluate no-move status for containers 
  • Create and provide TBU 
  • Handle COD and late runner cases 
  • Update missing PT DG container numbers in FIS 
  • Insert container numbers and stowage position for DG cargo 
  • Maintain terminal dates 
  • Coordinate OOG handling and update E-forms as per guidelines 
  • Monitor cargo patrol and DG hold containers 

b. Distribute Load/Discharge Information

  • Share DG manifest 
  • Provide load/discharge information 
  • Share reefer manifest 

c. Finalize Load/Discharge

  • Prepare and submit manual TDR 
  • Validate planned vs actual load/discharge data 
  • Maintain round voyage actuals 
  • Obtain VIA/rotation number from terminal and customs 

 

e. Organize Ad-hoc / Special Handlings

  • Seal changes and reefer temperature deviations 
  • DG placard issue resolution 
  • Re-export and long-standing containers 
  • Monitor import evacuation within free time 
  • Ensure compliance with port, terminal, marine, and customs regulations 
  • Coordinate with partners and stakeholders for timely and accurate cargo data exchange 
  • Monitor and approve late gate requests as per protocols 
  • Maintain records of containers not in terminal, missing documents, and shortfall cases 
  • Track and update operational exceptions 
  • Generate and share reports (BB, DG manifests, empty containers, tank containers, etc.) 
  • Reconcile planned vs actual operations and identify discrepancies 
  • Maintain deadlines and cut-offs in FIS/workflow tools

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum Graduate from any field.  
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in transportation/cargo operations
  • Strong knowledge of cargo operations and terminal processes 
  • Proficiency in business systems / IT tools used in operations
