Job Description

Program & Academic Support

  • Assist in coordinating curriculum alignment activities with FNU and industry partners.
  • Support instructor recruitment, onboarding, and training logistics.
  • Maintain training schedules, enrolment databases, and student records.
  • Liaise with instructors and students to ensure smooth delivery of programs.

Student Services & Enrolment

  • Coordinate student support services including career counselling and orientation.
  • Coordinate enrolment workflows, eligibility tracking, and cohort planning.
  • Serve as a point of contact for student queries and feedback.

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Organize meetings, workshops, and events for the Careers Centre.
  • Support procurement and logistics for training equipment and materials.
  • Assist in tracking operating expenses and preparing budget reports.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop communications & presentations for Executive Leadership
  • Liaise with internal teams (HR, Finance, Logistics, Marketing and Communications) and external partners (FNU, government bodies).
  • Support communications and reporting to the Steering Committee and other stakeholders.
  • Help maintain relationships with industry partners and regulatory bodies.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Assist in collecting and analyzing data for KPI tracking and performance reporting.
  • Prepare regular updates and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in program coordination, student services, or workforce development.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools.
  • Experience working with academic institutions or training programs is an advantage.

Preferred Attributes

  • Familiarity with Fiji’s manufacturing or marine industries.
  • Experience in coordinating multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
