Everforth ECS is seeking a COOP Planner and Coordination Lead - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of enterprise COOP plans and disaster recovery strategies.
- Coordinate and conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to inform continuity planning.
- Establish and validate Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
- Integrate COOP planning with cybersecurity measures and change management processes.
- Facilitate continuity exercises and validate restoration procedures to ensure mission readiness.
- Provide comprehensive continuity readiness reports and advise government leadership on resilience strategies.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and hosting teams to align COOP strategies with operational needs.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to enhance operational resilience.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance: Secret Eligible required
- S. Citizenship required
- DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 411-Technical Support Specialist at the Advanced proficiency level
- Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, FITSP-O, GICSP, SSCP
- Education: Masters or Ph.D in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
- Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure and continuity planning within DoD or Federal environments.
- Proven track record in leading COOP and disaster recovery coordination across complex infrastructures.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and coordinating continuity exercises.
- Ability to integrate COOP planning with cybersecurity and infrastructure sustainment strategies.
