About the Role LV Petroleum is dedicated to providing our customers with delicious food in a welcoming atmosphere. We are currently hiring Cooks and Servers to join our growing team at our IHOP location. If you’re passionate about food, hospitality, and working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to meet you!
These positions are seperate and we do offer cross-training for both!
Server role starts at $3.65/Hr
Key Responsibilities
Cooking & Food Preparation
- Prepare and cook menu items with attention to quality and presentation
- Assist with ingredient prep and maintain proper stock levels
- Contribute ideas for specials and promotions
Customer Service
- Greet and seat guests promptly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
- Check on guests during their meal and address any concerns
- Process payments accurately (cash and credit cards)
Cleanliness & Organization
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area
- Clear and reset tables efficiently
- Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, and supplies as needed
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Support fellow team members during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service or customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess a positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Food safety certification is a plus, but training will be provided.
